The annual MSE club mooncake sales was held from 22^nd to 24^th September outside LT 6.  Right from the first day of sales, the booth attracted endless streams of people who stopped by to sample the savoury Swensens' ice-cream mooncakes flavours, which ranged from hot favourites Sticky Chewy Chocolate and Durian Supreme, to new innovations such as Hazelnut Latte and Strawberry Peachy Mango Yogurt. Subsequently, they enquired about the prices and collection modes available, which was promptly answered by helpful MSE club committee members.

MSE students and staff enjoyed a speacial rate of $22 for a box of four mooncakes, while non-MSE students and staff could get it at $23, which original retail price was $25.90. This bargain not only attracted MSE students, but students from other faculties as well. Jolyn Chuah from CEE and Yew Soon from MAE gave thumbs up to the delicious ice-cream flavours, as well as the mode of collection. “ It definitely benefits those hostelites who have fridge and people who live away from hall as well,” Jolyn commented.

All the mooncake vouchers were sold out after three days of brisk sales. Once again, the MSE club mooncakes sales has acheived roaring success. “Our mooncakes are very popular because of its uniqueness. Out of all the mooncakes booths you see around NTU, only MSE club is selling ice-cream ones,” welfare officer Boon Earn explained the reason behind the success.
